Fifteen years ago, Casa Azul of Greensboro was founded on the idea that art brings people together, sustains culture, and creates community. What began as a small idea born out of love for Latinx art and culture has evolved into a thriving space where artists are visible, voices are lifted, and traditions are celebrated. Through art exhibitions, dance and musical performances, video storytelling and poetry, and educational artist-led workshops, Casa Azul has become a home for the best of Latinx and Latin American arts and culture for all of Greensboro to enjoy.
To celebrate 15 years of Casa Azul, we mark this milestone with a new logo featuring a crown inspired by a quinceañera, symbolizing growth, celebration, and the beginning of a new chapter. As our organization matures, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate all those who have walked with us on this journey: the artists who have trusted us with their art, the volunteers who have given us their time, and the community that has supported our mission.
