Greensboro resident and children’s book author, Luis Germán Perdomo, is a lover of literature.
Originally from Colombia, Perdomo’s passion for literature lead him to read any book he could get his hands on. Today, he has extended this love of literature by writing his own books.
His latest work, a children’s book named “La Cajita de las Palabras Todas” [“The Little Box of all the Words”] was written not only for children but for youth and adults as well. Perdomo seeks to challenge and captivate his reader, while encouraging his readers to express themselves.
“La Cajita de las Palabras Todas” is about a young girl who asks her father about the most beautiful, sweet, tender, sincere and intelligent word. The book takes the reader on a journey of finding out just exactly what that word is. Perdomo wrote this book as a tribute to his own children and the beautiful experience that fatherhood is for him.
Perdomo has published other books on the topics of human rights and conflict management for institutions abroad. He is currently focusing on his next book, “Caracolito” (“Little Snail”), which is based off of a story he regularly shared with his children when they were young.
