Dance Revolution is hosting a Latin Dance Party with a complimentary Kizomba Lesson on May 2, 2017. The proceeds from the event will be donated to Casa Azul for use in promoting Latino art and culture in the Triad.
Bring your friends and enjoy a complimentary Kizomba lesson from a guest teacher from 7 to 8 pm. Dance to the sounds of Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba and other Latin music with DJ RAUL from 8-11 pm. No dance partner or experience is necessary. Just come take part in the fun!
The event will be held at the W on Elm, located at 324 South Elm Street, Greensboro. There is a fully stocked bar, sleek décor and a huge dancefloor! Its a convenient Downtown Greensboro Location with easy parking. There is a $10 cover charge at the door.

On Tuesday, June 14th, from 7 to 8:30pm Perspectivas Latinas was held at the Green Hill Center for NC Art exhibit in the Hemphill Branch Library, featuring Casa Azul artists: Monica Weber (visual artist and mosaic work) Mariana Rodriguez- Pardy (potter and folk artist), Jose Rodriguez (contemporary art), and Carlos Dagnesses (photography).
Music was provided by Paulo Barata and Mexican hors d’oeuvres were served.
The art will be on display through August 24.
